About the Gypsy Wagon Studio

This unique concept creates a beautiful and whimsical caravan that can travel anywhere a 4x4 truck can go. It can be your passport to wilderness beauty for your project. This studio can come to you. If you are at a festival or conference, you can ask those friends from near and far to join you for some special musical alchemy.

The outside:

Modeled after the Reading Wagon style gypsy caravan, this all wood trailer is an ongoing work of art. Braces and accents will be developed by artists  and woodcarvers for projects. It is designed as a set for either still photography or cinematography. The 7’ by 4’ covered porch becomes an additional outdoor room for photography and cinematography with the wide world as a backdrop.

The inside:

Acoustic instruments and voices sound Amazing in this space. The slanted out walls and the curved ceiling combine with ¾ inch sustainable, exotic cypress paneling to deliver a perfect acoustical space that sounds much, much larger. The beautifully stained wood interior lends itself wonderfully to film or webcast.

Soundproofing materials from Proflex Products turns this space into a recording studio for audio or film recording. This Gypsy Wagon Studio can go off the grid, with solar and wind power. The kitchenette, shower and toilet bring a bit of civilization to any remote wilderness spot.

About the Proprietor

David Hakan is a full-time touring songwriter who finds himself on the leading edge (and sometimes the bleeding edge) of technology. After producing many CD projects and music videos, he found a way to bring professional quality promotion to talented acoustic artists “on their way up” at a price they can afford now.
